Nichole Van is the worst!!! She is tearing my family apart!. A new book comes out and I think, this time I can read like a Gentleman. But this particular book was like crack on steroids. I could not put it down. I kept telling myself, just one more chapter. My kids came in and said, "Mommy, feed us." And I said, "Feed yourselves. And while your at it, make me something." Then they said, "dinner is ready." And I said, "I want to eat in bed with my book." And they said, "This family eats at the table." -- Stupid 20 something millenials.I recommend this book only if you have a weekend to spare. Nichole Van just gets better and better!

Not sure what I expected but this book was awesome. The sense of humor made me laugh and the historical info added so much to the story. The ending was perfect also.
Nichole Van has become one of my favorite authors. I love her clever stories that draw you in right away. Delightfully fun, intriguing, mysterious, lovely writing. Don’t hesitate. You will love the adventure.
This book was amazing! I'd waited so long for the next story in the Brother's Maledetti series & I was NOT disappointed. Even though this is Branwell & Lucy's story, it was fun to get more background on both Branwell and Tennyson and their various GUTs. The romance was sweet & 100% clean. Another 5 stars for Nichole Van!!
I absolutely love the House of Oak series. I have read them several times and I think the author is an amazing storyteller. I am bummed that I don't love this series, however. Perhaps I read this one too quickly, but I didn't feel like I really knew Branwell in the end as much as I've gotten to know other characters. And the forbidden love thing somehow seemed like a lot of internal angst that suddenly was resolved. It just wasn't as satisfying as Nichole's other stories have been for me. . .
I never like a second book more then the first. This author has done something very few can do, make an awesome second book. I enjoyed and ate up this book. I love the way the men in this family love. Wow. What a completely different idea and story line then the first book. I have already preordered the third. I am excited to see how this series plays out and I want more of this family. These are clean well written romance paranormal books.
Lucy, the ex-girlfriend of Tennyson has returned to Italy to look after little Grace, her niece. But when Grace disappears into thin air, she needs the talents of the Maledetti Brothers to solve the mystery. Complicating things are her strong feelings for Branwell, which influenced her breakup with his brother Tennyson. The uncanny elements surface as what happened to her long lost Regency ancestor become crucial.
Very unique plot with a lot of emotional angst as they both fight against their romantic feelings. Love the series.
Okay, so let me just get this out of the way first Nichole Van is my favorite author, hands down, infinity and beyond, nothing can beat that, period. If you haven't devoured every single word of her amazing work yet, get on it already!! Phew, okay. Ready to talk about this book. ) Once again we join the D'Angelo family and their journey to uncover the secrets of an ancient family curse. Triplet brothers each share a portion of the second sight powers their family line has passed down for generations. I really love the different and thought-provoking aspects of the supernatural that these stories explore. The first book was all about past lives and reincarnation, while this one focuses on different dimensions and the link between generations. There were so many unexpected twists and turns throughout this book to keep the pace constantly flowing, not to mention a heart-breakingly beautiful love story that kept my stomach constantly fluttering. Mix in some incredibly witty humor, we're talking moments that will make you laugh out loud, and you basically have everything you could want in a book, (which seems to be Nichole Van's MO, so no surprises here!) A warning to readers don't start this unless you have hours to devote to it, because you won't want to put it down! I loved everything about this book and I really don't know how I am supposed to wait until next year for the next arrival in the series. )
